The Amerivan PT is built to last. All air conditioning, heating, and braking lines are constructed in durable stainless steel. This is the only lowered floor minivan available with an all stainless steel floor.
Designed for light transit applications, the Amerivan PT version with Gurney Transport Capability gives you the flexibility to transport passengers using wheelchairs, a passenger on a gurney, or ambulatory passengers! The standard configuration provides two wheelchair passenger securement positions with additional seating for ambulatory passengers. When needed, simply deploy the gurney platform to create one gurney position, with the additional flexibility of one wheelchair passenger securement position, and attendant seating beside the gurney.
El Dorado’s manual paratransit conversion is easy to operate. Just open the manual door, deploy the manual ramp, and/or deploy the gurney platform. The 12” lowered floor allows passengers using wheelchairs to enter and ride at a comfortable height, and the removable front seat creates a second wheelchair securement position when needed.
The Amerivan PT ramp gate swing-out feature allows ambulatory passengers to access the vehicle easily and exit directly to curbs and sidewalks, away from the flow of traffic.
