The Braun Companionvan Manual Conversion is available for the Dodge Grand Caravan minivan.
The Companionvan provides a unique lowered floor area in the center of the van only, offering accessibility in an economical package for those who will travel with a companion. Your driving companion simply opens the door and unfolds the manual ramp.
As with other lowered floor conversions, Companionvan’s center drop lowered floor conversion is engineered to create approximately 10” of additional headroom in the van door doorway and van interior, without compromising ground clearance. This provides a comfortable fit for most adults using manual wheelchairs, power chairs, or scooters.
What makes a Braun Companionvan different?
The Companionvan is an economical manual conversion, with a lowered floor only in the center section of the van. Sliding door and fold out ramp are operated manually by your companion.

Financing Options for Wheelchair Accessible Vans

Extended term financing is one popular option for many accessible vans. For New vans, 10-year financing is available. For newer model Pre-Owned vans, the financing term is usually less than 10 years, but longer than typical banks or credit unions. You may also choose a shorter term loan and/or pay off the loan early with no pre-payment penalty.
Low interest loans are also available if you do not need extended term financing.
If you already have a strong relationship with your bank or credit union and do not need extended term financing, we will provide any information your lender needs to consider financing for your wheelchair accessible van.
